Significance of Flowers in Puthandu Pooja

In Tamil tradition, flowers are more than decorations—they are sacred offerings to gods. On Puthandu, Tamil families clean their homes, decorate the entrance with Kolam and Maavilai thoranams, and perform early morning pooja with fresh flowers, lamps, and fruits.

Offering jasmine, marigold, and rose petals during Puthandu is a way to invoke blessings from deities like Lord Ganesha, Goddess Lakshmi, and Lord Vishnu. The scent and color of flowers are said to attract divine energy and positive vibrations.

By using the Puthandu Flower Package, you honor the age-old Tamil tradition of beginning the year with beauty, grace, and gratitude.
